Environmental indicators are easiest to misuse when a map looks complete. OurBlueDot publishes each measure as its source defines it, for the period it actually reports, and leaves missing countries grey.
Use this hub to move from a world pattern to a country value without treating CO₂, forests, water, air quality, or temperature as a single score.
What you can compare
Territorial carbon dioxide emissions per person, forest area as a share of land, agricultural water stress, modelled fine-particle exposure, temperature change from a baseline climate, and fertilizer applied per hectare of cropland.
How to read the maps
A darker country is not a verdict. Each layer states whether a higher value means more pressure, more cover, or a larger modelled change, and whether the figure is observed or modelled. Ranks include only countries with comparable values in the selected period.
